We believe in good, fresh, simple, local food. Free range eggs for breakfast from a field just up the road. Bacon and sausages hand made by our local butcher, who personally selects his animals from Devon farms.

Add fresh bread and a good cup of tea or coffee … all for around a fiver.

At lunchtime try home-made soup, smoked trout pate from the nearby trout farm, or a West country ham or cheese ploughman’s. Just a snack? Anytime you can have a slice of home-baked cake, a toasted teacake or of course the traditional Devon cream tea.

Like the café, the shop at Sundial Garden focuses on good local food and drink:

Traditional West country ciders, both bottled and draught, country wines,
fruit liqueurs, ales and beers
Jams, pickles and mustards, all high quality and small batch made
Local honey
Biscuits, crisps, ice-cream, fudge and chocolates
Clotted cream, cheeses and free-range eggs

Alongside the food, we have our exclusive range of fuchsia patterned bone china produced by the Honiton Pottery. We also sell plant pots for house and garden, and a range of useful and ornamental items for the garden and conservatory.
